Kidnappers of the son of "Rosneft" deputy head sentenced to 14 and 6 years

The Gagarin Court of Moscow has found the Chechens Magomed Gorchkhanov and Zarema Dataeva guilty of kidnapping Maxim, son of Mikhail Stavskiy, deputy boss of the "Rosneft".

Magomed Gorchkhanov was sentenced to 14 years of a high security colony, and Zarema Dataeva - to 6 years of a minimum security colony, The "Gazeta.Ru" reports.

Also, the civil suit of the victim was partially satisfied: one million roubles will be collected from the convicts, although the initial claim was 10 million. Mikhail Stavskiy was present at the announcement of the verdict.

Dataeva's term will include the time she spent in custody - she was for more than a year in the investigatory isolation facility, the ITAR-TASS writes.

Anna Byurchieva, Dataeva's advocate, plans to appeal against the verdict, as her client - in the lawyer's opinion - has nothing to do with the kidnapping.
