Murder of high-ranking Dagestan MIA officer was ordered by his son, law enforcers say

The law enforcement bodies of Dagestan assert that they have solved the murder of Yunus Khulataev, deputy chief of the division of the investigatory department at the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) for the Republic of Dagestan. His son - Gadjimurad Khulataev - was named as the crime customer; he had got "under the influence of extremists" and is already giving confessional evidences.

"As an adherent of extremist ideas, Gadjimurad Khulataev could not bear, in the eyes of his associates, his father's place of work. At the night of the crime Gadjimurad, knowing that his father was asleep, opened the door to gangsters, and continued, as if nothing happened, watching TV together with his mother.

Under the pre-set scenario, militants entered the flat, killed the head of the family and roped Gadjimurad and his mother in one of the rooms. They stole about 1.3 million roubles and disappeared, having staged a robbery. For helping to kill his father, Gadjimurad was to get 100,000 roubles from the above sum and the pistol 'Glock', by means of which his father was allegedly killed," the local FSB Department made comments on Gadjimurad's evidences.

As reported to the "Caucasian Knot" by the employees of the Department, "during the funeral of his father Gadjimurad received condolences, with a staged grief in his face, from his relatives, neighbours and other people who had known his father."

Apart from his father, as law enforcers assert, Gadjimurad Khulataev had planned to also kill his brother, who was going to work for the prosecutor's office.
