Moscow-Tbilisi flights to resume on August 23
Today, the "Siberia" Airline ("S7 Airlines") has announced that since August 23 it will start its flights to Georgia.
The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed by Tatiya Idadze, press speaker of the United Transport Administration of Georgia, that one month ago the "S7 Airlines" addressed the Georgian aviation authorities and, after consideration, received a permit on Moscow-Tbilisi charter flights.
The flight Moscow-Tbilisi-Moscow will be performed three times a week (on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays) by Airbus A319. Take-off from Moscow at 10:25 a.m., arrival in Tbilisi at 1:10 p.m., return take-off at 2:00 p.m. and arrival in Moscow at 4:50 p.m.
In the meantime, another airline - the Georgian International Airlines (former Euroline) has requested the Federal Agency of Air Transport of the Russian Federation for a permit to make charter flights to Russia.
