Russia's Air Forces to resume flights from Abkhazian airports

As reported by General Alexander Zelin, Commander-in-Chief of the Air Forces of the Russian Federation, Russian military aircrafts will restart flights from two airports in Abkhazia.

According to Mr Zelin, Russian militaries are ready to help the republic to restore its air communication. "Together with the leaders of Abkhazia, we should revive regular flights from the Sukhumi airport, so that Abkhazia could communicate with the whole world," the "Interfax" quotes the Commander-in-Chief as saying.

The General has emphasized that the presence of Russian militaries in the region is no threat to any third countries, the "Echo Moskvy" Radio reports.
