Azerbaijan bans visits to forests

In the context of aggravated fire-hazardous situation, the Ministry for Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan has entered a complete ban on access to the woods of the region.

According to the Ministry, the ban has to do with aggravated fire danger and covers everybody, except for employees of national parks and the enterprises involved in forest protection and restoration. To enforce the ban, round-the-clock posts have been set up at all entrances to forests.

The ban will remain valid till complete elimination of fire hazard, the "Аbc.az" reports.
