Militiamen hold protest rally in Ingushetia
In the city of Karabulak, Ingushetia, militiamen express their unwillingness to work under command of the new boss of local GOVD (City Interior Department). On August 10, they held a protest rally in front of the GOVD building.
The main militiamen's demand was to dismiss Nazir Guliev, head of the GOVD. They have stated that the refuse to obey his "criminal orders to apply violence" against the republic's population.
Guliev was appointed the head of the Karabulak GOVD in December 2009. In April this year an attempt was committed on him. Then, two employees of the GOVD were lost, but their boss did not suffer, the "Gazeta.Ru" reports.
Nazir Guliev is a brother-in-law of the brother of the incumbent President of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Evkurov Uvais, who is the head of the President's securities, the portal "Corrupcia.Net" reports.
