Seven persons catch African swine fever in Rostov Region
As reported by the Department of "Rospotrebnadzor" (Russian Federal Agency for Consumer Supervision) for the Rostov Region, seven laboratory confirmed cases of West Nile Encephalitis (WNE) have been registered in Rostov-on-Don.
According to the Department, the disease virus was carried by usual mosquitoes. Within a month, seven patients were hospitalized with nausea, acute headache and rash. None of them, while having rest in the nature, neglected using anti-mosquito means.
Now, the patients of the dangerous disease are under doctor's supervision; their health condition is satisfactory, the "Gazeta.Ru" reports.
