Two OMON fighters wounded at shelling in Ingushetia

As reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), in a skirmish in the municipal district Plievo in Nazran, two servicemen of the OMON (Special Militia) were wounded.

The incident took place at about 7:50 a.m. Moscow time in Plievo village, near the high school in the highway Nazran-Karabulak. Unidentified persons shelled two armoured UAZ vans transporting OMON fighters.

The attackers disappeared; under available data, they used VAZ-2107 and VAZ-21114 cars, the "Gazeta.Ru" writes.

Both victims were slightly wounded and received medical aid in place, the "Life News" reports.
