ICPO: seven wounded in mass fight in Dagestan
As reported by the Investigatory Committee at the Prosecutor's Office (ICPO) the Russian Federation, seven persons were wounded in the mass fight on July 30 in Dagestan.
The fight burst out between residents of the Dagestan villages of Gergebel and Gikuni: about 200 persons were engaged from each party, and firearms were used. Three persons perished, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
Now, the circumstances of the incident are studied, and steps are taken to find and detain the instigators of the fight and those who used firearms.
So far, it is not known for sure what the reason of the fight was; however, under one of the versions, children played in the street and started a quarrel. Adults went out to the noise and decided to defend their kids. According to another version, the reason was in hostile relations.
