Lithuanian court extends arrest of woman from Klaipeda suspected of terrorism
Under the decision of the Vilnius Regional Court, Egle Kusaite, suspected of terrorism, will stay behind bars till September 26. The court is afraid that once at large the woman may disappear from justice.
The ruling of the court that extends Kusaite's custody at the Lukishki Prison of Vilnius till September 26 can be challenged under the appeal procedure.
Now, the suspect and her advocates have started acquainting with all the materials of the pre-trial investigation, which compile 15 volumes of documents.
The public prosecutor has appointed two weeks for studying the materials; then, a decision will be made to send the case to the court, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
