Moscow: figurant in inspector Kaziakhmedov's murder case sentenced to 12 years of colony

The Moscow City Court has sentenced Rasul Akhmaev, accused of complicity in the murder of Nazim Kaziakhmedov, an inspector of the General Prosecutor's Office, to 12 years of high security colony. He was found guilty of buying the firearm that was used for the murder and of participating in organization of the murder.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Kaziakhmedov was shot dead in Moscow in September 2007 in Stromynka Street, opposite the building of Roman Viktyuk's theatre. A source from the Russian General Prosecutor's Office reported later that the murder of the inspector of the prosecutor's office of Dagestan could be committed by his former colleagues because of personal hostility.

According to the investigation, the organizer and the customer of the murder of the inspector was Said Abdulakimov, former public prosecutor's assistant, who is now in custody and gets acquainted with the materials of the case.

The court considered the case in the special order, since Akhmaev had pled guilty and concluded a pre-judicial agreement with the investigation, the "Gazeta.Ru" reports.

The public prosecutor demanded 13 years of high security colony for him.
