Ingushetia: two persons wounded in shelling

Today, in the Malgobek District of Ingushetia, unidentified persons wounded an employee of the local OVD (Interior Division), who stood in the street, and a passer-by.

As reported by the local Investigatory Department (ID) of the Russian ICPO (Investigatory Committee at the Prosecutor's Office), the incident took place at 7:20 Moscow time in one of the streets of the village of Sagopshi.

"Unidentified persons opened automatic fire on an OVD employee - he was heavily wounded and hospitalized," said the Division's spokesman.

According to the source, an occasional passer-by was also wounded; he was hospitalized in the medium gravity condition. The attackers disappeared; and now the venue is examined by an operative-investigatory group, the "Interfax" reports.

Meanwhile, under the version of another source in law enforcement bodies of the republic, in the afternoon of that very day, in the Malgobek District, "a passenger car with a law enforcer and a civilian inside was shelled from firearms." This source marks that "so far, contradictory information arrives about the village, where the incident took place - in Psedakh or in neighbouring Sagopshi," the RIA "Novosti" writes.
