Bagapsh goes to visit Cuba
On his way to Nicaragua with his first official visit, President of Abkhazia Sergey Bagapsh made a stop in Cuba. He will come to Managua, the capital of Nicaragua, on Sunday in the morning.
"The Bagapsh aircraft was to make only a technical landing in Havana for refuelling; however, it became known that the head of Abkhazia would meet Cuban officials in Havana," asserts a source from his delegation. There is no official confirmation of this information yet.
It was planned that Sergey Bagapsh would stay in Managua on July 17-21. In Nicaragua, he will meet President Daniel Ortega and members of his government and will take part in celebrations of the 31st anniversary of the Sandinista Revolution, as a result of which the left-wing radical front of national liberation, headed by Ortega, overthrew the regime of Anastasio Somosa.
