Evkurov claims attackers at transport column in Ingushetia are known

The persons who have shot at and exploded the RF MoI transport column today are known and will be found, states the Ingushetia president Yunus-Bek Evkurov.

For reference, today, the shooting at the transport column with soldiers of the temporary operational group of RF MoI in Nazran district, Ingushetia, has resulted in two soldiers killed and four wounded.

"We know who has done it. This gang, these rascals are being hunted, they will be found and wiped out. No attack on Murmansk oblast MoI department officers may remain unpunished", says Evkurov.

He reports that he has already given the necessary instructions to minimize night movements of service transport facilities, except in performing operational actions, in order to secure their safety.

"The situation in the republic does not allow one to relax and requires maximum concentration of efforts from everyone, both from state authorities and the law enforcement structures", cites "Interfax" Evkurov's words.

For reference, on June 30, unidentified persons shot at the car of a militiaman from an automatic gun  in Nazran district. The militiaman was not injured. On June 29, militiamen tried to stop a car in Oskanov Street in the village of Pliyevo, driven by two persons suspected of complicity in a number of crimes committed on the territory of Ingushetia. According to the FSS, the persons in the car opened fire on the militiamen. The response fire resulted in killing the two suspected militants.
