Lawyer from Dagestan reports beating of his colleague in militia
An investigating officer of Sovietski district militia in Makhachkala has beaten Dzhamilia Taghirova, lawyer of Dagestan specialized bar, reports Rasul Kadiev, Dagestan lawyer, to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
According to Kadiev, after conducting a line-up, the investigator struck Taghirova in her face because the lawyer tried to keep the report which he had torn to pieces. The source does not disclose the name of the investigator.
Dzhamilia Taghirova's client who is the only witness of the attack on the lawyer is now in detention, reports Kadiev.
There is no confirmation of the information from other sources yet. The Sovietski district militia in Makhachkala has also refused to give comments on the issue to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
