Chechnya: two locals wounded by land mine explosion
On May 27, in the southwest of Chechnya, a self-made explosive item was triggered and wounded two shepherds who were tending their sheep.
"Two shepherds blew themselves up in the high-mountainous pasture in the Achkhoi-Martan District. Both were hospitalized with various gravity fragmental wounds," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed at the Chechen MIA.
This is the fourth within the recent ten days explosion of land mines in the territory of Chechnya, where residents suffered. By experts' estimates the republic needs de-mining of about 25,000 hectares of land.
