Figurant of "Neva-Express" train explosion in 2007 has its term increased

The Novgorod Regional Court made a partial addition of two verdicts passed to Salambek Dzakhkiev, a resident of Ingushetia and a figurant in the case about blowing up the "Neva-Express" train in 2007, and increased his total term of imprisonment by six months.

Let us remind you that on January 15, 2010, the Novgorod Regional Court acquitted Dzakhkiev from charges of a terror act, but later found him guilty of illegal circulation of explosives and robbery and sentenced to ten years of a maximum security colony. On March 31, the Supreme Court rejected the cassation complaint on this case. Dzakhkiev was also sentenced to two years and four months of imprisonment in a minimum security colony on a charge of bribing an inspector. On April 13, the cassation complaint on this verdict was also rejected.

As stated today by Natalia Teslenko, Dzakhkiev's advocate, the total sentence made ten years and six months of imprisonment, the "Gazeta.Ru" reports. The date of the trial is not reported.
