Court leaves figurant in "Neva-Express" train explosion case behind bars
On June 18, the Moscow City Court made a decision to leave Tatarkhan Kartoev, a native of Ingushetia, one of the persons accused of blowing up the "Neva-Express" train in November 2009, in custody.
On June 16, the Moscow City Court also rejected the cassation complaint lodged by advocates and upheld extension of arrest till November 2 to another figurant of the case - Tarkhan Kartoev.
On that very day the Court was to consider also the complaint of Tatarkhan Kartoev; however, the session was reappointed to June 18, since there was no interpreter into the Ingush language, and the defendant practically does not speak Russian.
By the outcomes of the session on June 18, the cassation board upheld the decision of the Basmanny Court of Moscow to extend the custody of Kartoev by 6 months - till November 2, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
