Azerbaijan accuses Armenia of shelling its territory

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) asserts that within the last three days Armenian armed forces made a series of attacks on their Azerbaijani counterparts.

Let us note here that the Azerbaijani and Armenian parties are regularly accusing each other of breaking the ceasefire regime and of provocations in the border.

The last incident, when, according to the Azerbaijani party, the positions of armed forces of Azerbaijan were shelled from the Terter District of Armenia from sub-machine and machine guns happened on June 14 from 01:15 to 01:30 a.m., as the "APA" Agency reports.

According to the Azerbaijani MoD, the armed forces of Armenia broke the ceasefire regime also during June 13 from the positions set up on unnumbered hills of the Khodzhaven and Fizulin Districts and on June 11 - from positions of the Khodzhaven and Geranboi Districts.

In all cases, the response fire opened; there were no casualties and victims, as the "Trend" Agency reports.

Nothing is reported so far about any reaction of the Armenian party to the statements of the MoD of Azerbaijan.
