Saakashvili is not going to be President of Georgia after 2013
After expiry of his second presidential term, Mikhail Saakashvili will not apply for the post of the state leader, as he said today in Kutaisi.
"Georgia will never be a sort of "Bandustan", where constitution and laws are written for one particular person," said Saakashvili speaking to the trainees of the Administration School in Kutaisi.
"Certainly, there will be a new leader; surely, Georgia will have a new president. I'd like the present team of reformers to go on with their activities, but I'd like also other political parties to support these reforms, in order to avoid a tragedy for the country, when they come to power," the "Georgia-Online" Agency quotes Mr Saakashvili as saying.
Several days earlier the Georgian President did not exclude his becoming Prime Minister of Georgia after his presidency.
