Doctors confirm traumas in Tsechoev detained in Ingushetia
In Malgobek, physicians have confirmed that in the evening on June 8 an ambulance was called to the GUVD (Chief Interior Department) to render emergency aid to detainee Beslan Tsechoev. This was reported by Magomed Khazbiev, head of the organization "Fair Ingushetia" who yesterday visited the GUVD of Malgobek.
The document sent to Tsechoevs' advocate from the municipal establishment "Malgobek District First Aid Station" says that on June 8 at 8:35 p.m. a medical first-aid crew was sent to the Malgobek GUVD to help Beslan Tsechoev.
Doctors diagnosed in him a closed craniocerebral trauma, brain bruise and injury of the lumbar-chest section of his back.
As noted by Mr Khazbiev, it is a rare case when hospital doctors have indirectly confirmed by a document that militiamen are guilty of torturing their detainees.
Head of the GUVD Nukhazhir Evloev refused to speak about details of the Tsechoevs' stay at his facility, but promised that their advocate would be let to them in the near future.
In his turn, Ombudsman in Ingushetia Dzhambulat Ozdoev expressed his intention to strain all his efforts towards complete respect of Tsechoevs' rights.
