Kabardino-Balkaria: unidentified bandits attack liturgical building of Jehovah's Witnesses

Today, at 4 a.m., two unidentified persons opened a window and got into the building for religious meetings of Jehovah's Witnesses located in the town of Nartkala in Kabardino-Balkaria.

The "Caucasian Knot" was informed at the press service of the Administrative Centre of Jehovah's Witnesses in Russia that the attackers beat two on duty employees, who are now in hospital.

"The Hall of Kingdom (the way believers name the buildings specially allocated for their divine services, - comment of the "Caucasian Knot") was poured over with some liquid and set on fire. 14 ignition points were found," said Grigori Martynov, an employee of the press service.

The fire was suppressed by the victims by means of fire extinguishers.

The attackers disappeared after they noticed that the persons on duty managed to press down the emergency pushbutton.

Now, the building is examined by law enforcers and experts of the Ministry for Emergencies, who try to establish the details.
