Suspect of organizing Kizlyar terror act detained in Dagestan
On May 22 in Dagestan, law enforcers detained a car with a suspected organizer of the terror act committed in Kizlyar on March 31.
"The car was transporting three persons, Pakhrudin Ahmedov, born in 1982, an active member of the 'Kizlyar' subversive and terrorist group among them. After the terror act in Kizlyar on March 31, Ahmedov was announced into federal search as a suspect of organizing the crime," said the spokesman of the local MIA.
The MIA of Dagestan has also reported that the examination of the passengers and car interior revealed plenty of cartridges, an IZh gas pistol retooled for live cartridges and a "Khattab"-type grenade. All the three persons were detained, as the "Gazeta.Ru" reports.
The top managers of the Russian MIA and FSB (Federal Security Bureau) made a conclusion that the attack in Kizlyar was linked with the twin terror act in Moscow metro. The so-called "Vedeno Jama'at", known for using the Internet for recruiting suicide-bombers for their terror acts, was mentioned as the organizer, as the "Echo Moskvy" Radio reports.
