Krasnodar Territory: grenade kills female seller and wounds two more
It is supposed that an RGD grenade was blown up in the evening on May 21 in a grocery shop located in Ladozhskaya village, Ust-Labinsk District, Krasnodar Territory. As a result, a woman-shop assistant was killed, and two more persons were wounded.
As reported by Inna Biryukova, head of the press service of the Investigatory Department of the Russian ICPO for the Krasnodar Territory, the explosion took place at about 7:00 p.m. Moscow time in the "Gourman" shop.
"According to eyewitnesses, the grenade was triggered by a local entrepreneur of 49. It's not yet clear whether he threw the grenade wilfully or dropped it occasionally," said Ms Biryukova.
The place of the explosion is studied by an investigatory group; the issue is considered of initiating a criminal case, the "Interfax" Agency reports. while the "Gazeta.Ru" adds that the suspected criminal is searched by law enforcement bodies.
