Two explosions triggered in Dagestan - one casualty
Tonight, explosions happened in Makhachkala, the capital of Dagestan, and in Kasumkent village, Suleimanstal District of the republic. A suspected suicide bomber perished, and three militiamen were injured.
"Within one and a half hours, two bombs were triggered in two regions of Dagestan. In Makhachkala, an explosion was triggered, when a patrol militia UAZ van was driving along a city street. Three militiamen were contused, and the van received mechanical damages," said a source from the temporary armed grouping in Northern Caucasus.
According to the source, about an hour later, at about 8:00 p.m. Moscow time, in Kasumkent village, Suleimanstal District, an explosive blew up in a passenger car. "It was established that the bomb, under preliminary data, was transported by a militant-Wahhabite, who was fatally wounded by the explosion and later died," the "Interfax" Agency quotes the source.
The source has added that the casualty had been established: he was known as an active participant of illegal armed formations IAFs, who specialized in subversive and terrorist activities against law enforcers, the "Vesti" TV Channel reports.
