Ibragim Yaganov, "Khasse" leader, attacked again in Kabardino-Balkaria

On April 30, another attack was undertaken on Ibragim Yaganov, Chairman of the Public Movement (PM) "Khasse".

At about 8:30 p.m. local time, Mr Yaganov went out of his house and approached his "Niva" car. He opened the luggage compartment aiming to put his bag there. At that moment a young man of athletic bodybuild approached him from the back with a piece of metal pipe in hand and tried to strike him on the head. However, Ibragim reacted, and the blow reached not the nape but his backbone.

The second blow with the pipe was on Yaganov's arm. A fight burst out, and the attacker received a response blow on his face. The criminal tried to run away towards the neighbouring yard. Ibragim rushed to pursue him, but the latter managed to disappear.

Neighbours who ran out to the noise were the eyewitnesses of the fights. According Yaganov, this attack was the continuation of the events of December 2009, the "Natpress" Agency reports with reference to the press service of the PM "Khasse".
