Employee of UN mission in Ingushetia detained as suspected IAF member

Today, in Ekazhevo village, Ingushetia, a local resident Mutaliev, an employee of the United Nations Mission, was detained on suspicion of participating in an illegal armed formation (IAF).

Let us remind you that yesterday, on May 6, in Kantyshevo village, Nazran District of Ingushetia, a special operation was held to neutralize suspected militants, and, according to the republic's law enforcement bodies, two of them were liquidated.

In the course of a search in the house of Mutaliev, who detained today, several sub-machine guns, cartridges and other ammunition were detected.

"According to our data, Mutaliev, an employee of the UN Mission, transported in his service car Magomed Gardanov, who was liquidated on May 5, 2010, and other IAF participants," the "Ingushetia.Org" quotes a source from local law enforcement bodies.

The "NEWSru.com" adds that Mutaliev's mother is an assistant of the public prosecutor.
