Four out of six kidnapped residents of Dagestan released
Mukhtar and Magomedrasul Magomedaliyevs, residents of the village of Novy Kostek, Khasaviurt district in Dagestan, kidnapped on April 29, have returned home, reports their father Bagavdin Magomedaliyev. The whereabouts of the third kidnapped son of Magomedaliyev remains unknown.
For reference, the father reported the kidnapping of the Magomedaliyevs. According to him, the armed kidnappers wore masks and spots suits.
"Mukhtar and Magomedrasul have returned home by themselves. They say that unidentified armed persons forced them and the other son Murad out of the building in Kizliar where they were working. The kidnappers put plastic bags over their heads, brought them to some house and started beating them. No claims were laid, they simply threatened that they were going to kill them. Then Mukhtar and Magomedrasul were put into a car, taken outside the town and thrown out of the car near a road. We do not know where Murad is now. We have applied to Kizliar militia but they say they have no information", reports Bagavdin Magomedaliyev.
Isa Magomedov, head of administration of the Novy Kostek village, reports that two more residents of the village kidnapped on April 27 have returned home. "I am informed that Israil Medzhidov and Kurban Aliyev have returned to the village. They do not know the fate of Magomedzaghir Isagadzhiyev, the third kidnapped person", says the head of administration.
An anonymous resident of the village of Novy Kostek claims that Israil Medzhidov and Kurban Aliyev were seriously beaten. "The kidnappers wanted them to confess that Akhmed Rabadanov, their killed co-resident, was a militant. The torture lasted for hours, then they were put into a car and thrown out near the highway. Today, Aliyev and Medzhidov can hardly get out of bed", says the "Caucasian Knot" interlocutor.
