Dagestan resident claims power authorities planted weapons in the house of his killed relative

The weapons found in the house of Akhmed Rabadanov, killed on April 26 and subsequently announced militant, were planted by militiamen, claims Rabadangadzhi Rabadanov, uncle of the diseased, resident of the village of Novy Kostek, Khasaviurt district, Dagestan, to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

"Having heard that the innocent nephew was killed and knowing that a search was imminent and provocations were possible, the relatives had carefully searched the house of Akhmed. As was expected, they had found nothing", says Rabadanov.

According to him, later, "armed Dagestan militiamen literally stormed" the house where only women were at that moment. "My relative phoned me and I went there together with several people who came to express their condolences", says Rabadangadzhi Rabadanov.

He states that the militiamen were behaving rudely and failed to present any authorizing documents.

Rabadanov states that the Dagestan law enforcement officers immediately announced their findings: "One of the militiamen shouted that he had found two grenades. He also showed the place - an open ground in front of the house which during the previous days had been crossed by tens of women who came to offer their condolences and which had been examined by us a few hours earlier".

"When one of my companions said that the grenades had been planted by the militiamen he was immediately forced out of the yard", added Rabadangadzhi Rabadanov and described other findings.

"One of the law enforcement officers, noticing a part of the truck crane, claimed it to be a silencer. When he was explained what it was he said the part should be sent to the Rostov-on-Don expert lab where they would sort it all out. The other militiaman found sacks with goat hair. He said they, too, must be sent for an expert examination", said Rabadanov.

Rabadangadzhi also stated that he was indignant with the behavior of the law enforcement officers and representatives of the local and federal media.

"The information agency "Dagestan" disseminated information that "a whole arsenal" was found in the house, consisting of two grenades, "an appliance for noiseless shooting and ammonia nitrate in the amount of 40 kg". I have already said about the two grenades and the silencer, but where does the ammonia nitrate come from I do not know. Maybe, it is the goat hair?"  says the puzzled uncle of the diseased.

The Dagestan MoI press service state that they know nothing about the incident. The information agency "Dagestan" claim that they have their own informant at the MoI.
