Audit Chamber revealed violations in spending budget money by Ingushetia

The Audit Chamber of Russia has made a check in Ingushetia and revealed violations in use of budget funds. In particular, contracts worth 208.8 million roubles were concluded without tendering.

"In violation of the current legislation, in January-December 2009, the main local disposers of budgetary funds concluded 23 purchase contracts worth 208.8 million roubles on material assets without holding tenders," runs the Chamber's statement.

Another widespread violation type is overestimating the work volumes at sites in progress. Thus, under the Republic's Ministry of Construction and the Departments of Housing and Communal Services this sort of violations totalled 91.96 million roubles, the "Caucasus Online" reports.

The Board of the Audit Chamber decided to send a presentation to President of Ingushetia, an address to the Investigatory Committee at the Prosecutor's Office (ICPO) of the Russian Federation and an information letter to the FSB of Russia, the "Gazeta.Ru" writes.
