Woman from Ingushetia: advocate is not admitted to her son

Fatima Bokova, a resident of Karabulak, reports that under unofficial information her son Khizar in kept in Division 6 of the GUVD (Chief Interior Department), in charge of counteracting extremism. Earlier, the woman had informed human rights activist that on April 21 he was kidnapped by power agents from their house.

"Our advocate was not let there; she was rudely prohibited to meet her client. The refusal was not explained. She went there at 6 p.m. and tried to get a pass; however, she was told that the working day was over and they shouldn't let her in," Fatima Bokova told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

According to her story, there is no official confirmation that Khizar Bokov is there, but she is absolutely sure. She said that mainly local militiamen work in Division 6 of the GUVD.

"When they rushed into our apartment at dawn, they showed no documents - there were quite a lot of them. I opened the door myself; they moved me aside without saying a word and came in. Some of them spoke Russian, others - the Ingush language. They asked: 'Where is your son?' I told them that he was in bed," said Fatima.

"They went to the bedroom and drove him out. I went out after them and saw that our whole yard was surrounded by people in masks and camouflage, with their sub-machine guns aimed at our house. There were two huge Ural lorries, five or six UAZ vans, a Gazel and other vehicles," she continued.

Fatima is the head of one of the departments of Karabulak administration, and Khizar is a six-year student of the correspondence department of the local university, where he is trained to become an economist.
