Residents of Ingushetia report kidnapping of large-family mother

An application has arrived to the human rights organization "Mashr" and the Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial" from Ashet Daurbekova, a resident of Plievo village, Nazran District of Ingushetia, about kidnapping of her daughter-in-law, mother of four children. This was reported by Vakha Chapanov, head of the "Maximum" Information Agency.

According to the source, Ms Daurbekova has reported that on April 8, at about 11 in the morning a search was conducted in the house, household premises and the yard, belonging to her brother Nazir Daurbekov.

"Everything was done without any explanations. Then, the power agents violently took away my daughter-in-law Zeinap Daurbekova, born in 1984," the woman writes and notes in her application that Zeinap is a mother of four children, the senior is 4 and youngest is just six weeks old.

The eyewitnesses of the incident say that the woman was forced into a black Lada-Priora car without state license plates and taken away to some unknown place.

"Our daughter-in-law is a housewife; she is a mother of a large family, not a criminal. We, relatives and friends of Zeinap, are worried by absence of information about her. We are afraid for her further destiny," said the relative of the kidnapped woman.

The "Caucasian Knot correspondent was confirmed at law enforcement bodies of Ingushetia of the fact of the application submitted by the relatives of the missing person, having noted that so far there were no traces of Zeinap or her kidnappers.
