FSB: militants liquidated in Ekazhevo were involved in Karabulak terror act
The militants liquidated as a result of the operation conducted in the Ingush village of Ekazhevo have been identified. According to the Federal Security Bureau (FSB), they are Korigov, Adam Magomedovich and Tsaloev, Ahmed Alikovich.
Let us remind you that special actions in a suburb of Ekazhevo were launched by employees of the FSB and Temporary Operative Grouping (TOG) today in the morning. Earlier it was reported that two power agents were wounded and three militants were liquidated in the special operation.
According to the statement of the PR Centre of the FSB, under the available data, the liquidated militants were involved in organization and realization of blowing up the GOVD (City Interior Department) of Karabulak, where two militiamen were lost.
"They had also planned a whole range of terror acts in the territory of Ingushetia with use of self-made explosive devices," the ITAR-TASS quotes the statement.
The special operation was conducted jointly by the Department for Ingushetia of the FSB and law enforcement bodies of Chechnya with participation of OMON (Special-Purpose Militia) fighters of the MIA on the Chechen Republic, and special fighters of the ORB-2 (Operative and Search Bureau).
This was announced by President of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov, who highly praised the actions of power agents and emphasized that interaction of law enforcement bodies with their colleagues from other regions brings good results, as the "Gazeta.Ru" reports.
