Moscow militia looks for women-suicide-bombers' accomplices by their photos

Photos of the two women-terrorists, who blew themselves up in Moscow metro, and of their three helpers have been widespread among Moscow interior departments and divisions, a source from law enforcement bodies of Russian capital said today. The major work will be at transport stations: militiamen will check all the bus stops, where buses arrive from the republics of Northern Caucasus, Stavropol and Krasnodar Territories, and Rostov and Volgograd Regions.

The explosions at Lubyanka and Park Kultury metro stations in Moscow were triggered on March 29 at 7:56 and 8:40 a.m. Moscow time respectively. According to the FSB, they were committed by women-suicide-bombers. Two women who, according to special agencies, accompanied them to the station entrances have been announced into search. The militia also knows the name of the supposed helper of the women-suicide-bombers: special services are searching on this suspicion a certain Mataev.

"The women-terrorists' photos were made posthumously, while photos of their three helpers, two women and one man, were obtained from video surveillance cameras," a source in law enforcement bodies of Moscow said to the "Interfax."

According to his story, there are all the grounds to believe that the terrorists had lived for some days in Moscow or in some suburb close to Moscow prior to committing their terror acts.

Employees of the Road-Patrol Service (RPS) received Mataev's photo. It was made by a video surveillance camera installed in one of metro stations. It is seen that a man in a cap pulled down over his eyes moves along the platform with a mobile phone in his hand. Unknown to the suicide-bombers, he could accompany them and then trigger the bombs by means of his mobile, the "Trud" newspaper writes.
