Rally against corruption to be held in Vladikavkaz

Today in Vladikavkaz, the public organization of veterans of power agencies of North Ossetia "Law Is Above Power" will organize a rally in protest against arbitrariness of "high Ossetian corrupt officials."

The members of this organization believe that corruption and criminality bring disorder into the life of North Ossetia.

"Our slavish silence encourages our high corrupted bosses to commit new lawlessness," Radio "Echo of the Caucasus" quotes one of the organizers of the event.

The organizers note that the republic suffers from mass unemployment, poverty of the population and arbitrariness of the authorities. Veterans and employees of power agencies are regularly deprived of their deserved social privileges and guarantees.

Other citizen groups of North Ossetia, in the opinion of the organizers of the rally, live no better. In particular, all the residents of the republic are affected by the price growth in vital life areas. The members of the "Law Is Above Power" believe that super-high prices, which are growing incessantly, make the social situation in the republic red-hot, the Ossetian Radio and TV Company reports.
