Dzhussoyev claims the number of electors in South Ossetia seriously overestimated

The South Ossetia CEC has falsified the number of 56,000 electors who took part in the parliamentary election on May 31, there are less than 20,000 people in the entire republic, states Albert Dzhussoyev, one of the opposition leaders, to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

"If there are not more than 20,000 residents in the entire republic, together with their mice, cows and poultry, where have they taken the number of 56,000 from? Initially, they announced the issue of 52,000 ballot papers. Have they copied more and used photocopies?" wonders Albert Dzhussoyev.

According to him, 5-7% of the population of South Ossetia took part in the election, while the other ballot papers have been put in later. "They added ballot papers in Leninogorsk district and in North Ossetia. Here, even during the Soviet times when the population was ten times as large, maximum 26,000-30,000 ballot papers used to be issued", states Albert Dzhussoyev.

According to Dzhussoyev, the most objective election was held in Moscow. "They issued 1800 ballot papers for Moscow, 117 persons came, or 4.5%. This has been registered by the observers and the press. Half of those 117 persons are students who were given 1000 rubles each", states the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent interlocutor.
